Partner Charity Led
A Partner Charity may take primacy for all non-musical matters relating to the event and receive all proceeds. The partner charity covers all agreed orchestra expenses (Approximately £1,000 for music, conductor and soloist expenses plus travelling expenses if outside of London) and is responsible for booking the venue. The LCO is able to assist in promoting the event through a mailing list and ‘Friends Scheme.’
The LCO aims to perform approximately four full orchestral concerts per year. From time to time, where there are substantial gaps between planned events in the orchestra diary and sufficient funds available, the LCO may book a date at a venue such as St. John’s, Smith Square. A partner charity will then be sought to assist primarily with the promotion of the event.
The London Charity Orchestra wants music to make a difference. Every year the organisation coordinates with a variety of charities to create exciting musical fund-raising events.

The Establishment as Trust and Registration as Charity (August 2002)
The objects of the Trust are: to promote, maintain and advance the education of the public in the arts, and in particular the art of music, through the presentation of concerts and other related activities; and by such other ways as the Trustees shall determine from time to time.
